I’m not talking about the real world here, I hope you realize this, and also this is not an advertisment to become one of those pirates you hear lately on News that are attacking commercial boats. No, no, no…that’s bad I you know this.
I’m talking about the times when you were just a kid that saw a movies with pirates and than take your plastic sword and play in the backyard. To be honest, I didn’t saw lately any kid playing this kind of games out there, but they all moved to the digital world. Good or bad, the future will tell us, but for now I have a proposal for you. No matter what your age is, escape for some time in the virtual world of pirates through Seafight Game.
Seafight is a free to play pirate MMO game, brought to you by Bigpoing.com.? As any free browser game you don’t have to download anything, you can play alone and together with another 25.000 people, which they advertise as being register. The only things need to play are the following:
~ Pentium? III 1.6 GHz or (Mac OSX) compatible computer
~ 256 MB RAM minimum, 512 MB or more recommended
~ 16 MB graphics card minimum, 32 MB or greater recommended
~ Adobe/Macromedia Flash player version 9.0.115.0 or higher
~ Internet Explorer (version 6 and higher) and Firefox (version 2 and higher)
Seafight is a very simple to play game. You start off small, and work you way up in everything from your ship to your crew to your gold. You move through the game, doing quest and fighting monsters, you will work your way up the pirate ladder to become one of the strongest, most notorious pirates in the seven seas. If you know what you are doing, then the game is offering a lot:
~ Over 50 sea charts with 4 different designs including arctic, tropical and lava themes
~ Constant creation of new levels packed full with quests and missions
~ More than 100 ship designs, many items, weapons, pirates and assistants
~ Numerous NPCs and millions of real opponents from across the globe
~ Over 30,000 guilds
If you are interested in the full review of this game, one very good article I found on BrightHub.com
Still not sure if you would like this game? Well have a look below and you may get convinced to spent some time away from your daily issues, in company of other pirates. And maybe, you’ll meet me there. Please don’t kill me!
There is also a bad point I have to warn you. I have read alot on games reviews sites, that you can become addicted to this game and Bigpoint is only trying to make money out of this. Now in their defence, who’s not trying to make money? For sure that the developers behing this project are not working for free, so it’s normal that they want to gain something in exchange. But still, I have played this game and here I’m without any cent spent and still I enjoy it.
